After weeks of silence, I heard from one of the in-house recruiters with the feedback from her engineering review board and to ask my compensation reqs…when our call ended, I double-checked their job reqs and sent her an email…
If your engineering board actually thought I was a better fit for the Software Engineer III position than the Enterprise Software Engineer opening than I don’t think we should move forward.
Either you have the most seasoned engineering team this side of Google or, far more likely, your current crop of engineers have such poor judgment that working with them would be akin to trying to explain how magnets work to my mother.
I wish you all the luck in the world filling your openings with low salaries and an incompetent review board.
