So I’m sort of writing daily again.
(Which you all can see since all I seem to be doing here is cross-posting from Twitter and my other blogs of late. I hope to become more active here again sometime soon, but until then you should definitely click through to some of those crossposts and make me and the others writing on my sites happy.)
It’s making me cranky that it takes more than one-and-a-half drafts to get these damn pieces written, and there’s arthritis in my funny bone, and my metaphors are more like metathrees, but I’m going to get it all back.
First, I’ll bitch and moan about everything I hate about TV (and maybe say some nice things along the way; after all, Parks & Recreation has a home and Mad Men is going to return in just over a month). Later, after I remember how to write opinion pieces and essays and rants and raves, I’ll even consider digging out the outlines for the dozen or so projects I’ve been “putting on a back burner” for the last two or three years. I’ll consider it.
Whether I manage to see any of this through remains to be seen. Life is still so wearying.
