seltzerlizard: n-a-s-a: The View Near a Black Hole  This is the view near some black holes.  I personally like the ones with those little shops that have those amazing chocolate truffles.  There’s also usually a t-shirt stand somewhere and a touristy convenience store that sells sundries and little things like postcards that say “If you were here, your mass would be nearly infinite now” and things like that.  Oh, vacations, they seem almost like too much bother to go on one but you miss them dearly some months after.. I have a t-shirt from one of those shops. It reads, My Parents went to a Black Hole and all I got was this lousy t-shirt because they never escaped the Gravity Well
